Grown at high altitude in the Boquete region of Panama, at the renowned Hacienda la Esmeralda, Lino 6HC coffee benefits from a honey-processed, controlled-drying method. This process carefully manages the drying of the cherries, preserving a portion of their mucilage to enhance their aromatic complexity while developing sweetness and depth. The name Lino does not refer to a variety, but rather to a specific plot within the farm. By isolating precise parcels, Hacienda la Esmeralda seeks to isolate the most interesting expressions of the terroir.
Our Lino 6HC batch from Hacienda la Esmeralda is therefore a particularly interesting expression of the Panamanian Geisha. The expected result in the cup is floral, fruity, and bright, with a refreshing quality. First, nectarine, then the luscious acidity of raspberry, followed by the sweet concentration of dried pineapple, finishing with a rosy note.
