【Cupping Comment】

① A surprising burst of refreshing watermelon flavor.

② A mild melon sweetness gently fills your mouth.

③ Hints of mango and banana linger pleasantly.

San Rafael Watermelon is a coffee produced at a family-owned farm located in Pereira, Risaralda. It undergoes a "Thermal Shock" process, where the temperature of the harvested coffee cherries is rapidly dropped from about 60°C to 10°C. This technique is used to prevent premature fermentation while the cherries are still intact. Afterwards, the pulp is removed, and the beans are fermented for approximately 100 hours with a special yeast and watermelon.

This coffee offers a refreshing sweetness reminiscent of watermelon and melon, making it a delightful and high-quality choice.

For the best taste... it's recommended to wait over two weeks after roasting. This allows the flavors to fully develop and lets you enjoy the beans' potential to the fullest!

Pereira, located in Risaralda, is surrounded by the Otún Quimbaya Fauna and Flora Sanctuary and national parks, fostering a rich biodiversity that is ideal for high-quality coffee production. The city hosts numerous coffee farms and cooperatives dedicated to specialty coffee.
