FRIEDHATS - Decaf - Siete Soles {Omni} | Colombia - Natural, Sugarcane - Field Blend

Personally (there are differing opinions within the Friedhats team on the matter), I have long taken issue with the sentiment “Death before decaf.” Those drinking decaf aren’t reliant upon caffeine, or even getting any kind of kick- they’re just doing it for the love of the game. Like going to the afters stone-cold sober, just because you love talking about the genius of Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows' that much. Passionate purists. 

Back to decaf. I do understand that inclination to hate on the historic quality of decaf coffees- they could taste… subpar. But these days, thanks to the hard work and shared vision of many folks along the supply chain, we are lucky to have decaf that doesn't taste like an afterthought. Siete Soles is the right balance of easy-drinker and slightly funky that’s hard not to like, and you can drink as much as you want without fear of sending your nervous system to the moon, so drink up.
