Grown on the high plateaus of Rwanda's western province, in the Macuba sector, this exceptional coffee is the result of the meticulous work of the Gasharu washing station, run by Valentin Kimenyi since 2014.

This specific batch, named "Rugori" (Women's Crown), pays tribute to the central role of women in Rwandan coffee farming: it is exclusively produced and processed by them to ensure that the profits from this harvest directly support their autonomy and their households.

This coffee benefits from an experimental anaerobic washing process. This controlled, oxygen-free fermentation method enhances the natural complexity of the bean, offering a sensory profile that is both vibrant and indulgent.

In the cup, you'll discover a pronounced acidity with notes of cranberry and raspberry jam, balanced by a deep base of cocoa bean.
