Roaster's Comment
We’re excited to introduce a new coffee from Sidama, Ethiopia, as part of our premium line.
Daye Bensa Coffee, led by Kenan Dukamo, is an exporter with an impressive track record—earning six top 10 placements in the Cup of Excellence between 2020 and 2022.
This lot is a natural process coffee that has undergone an extended 190-hour anaerobic fermentation, resulting in a remarkably diverse flavor profile. The cup is reminiscent of a mixed fruit juice, with notes of berries, passion fruit, grapes, and tropical fruits coming together in a vibrant expression.
While the flavor is bold and impactful, it remains exceptionally clean, with a light, black tea–like quality characteristic of Ethiopian coffees, creating a beautifully balanced cup.
With its rich and expressive aromatics, this coffee is also highly recommended enjoyed cold—refreshing and easy to drink.
