This batch of Natural Catuai comes from the micro-region of Chirripó, between 1,900 and 2,000 meters above sea level, on the lands of the Ilama family.
The producer, Albin, cultivates his coffee trees with meticulous care. The region, nicknamed “Montañas de Oro”, is located near Mount Chirripó, the highest peak in the country.
This terroir is distinguished by its high altitude, fertile volcanic soils and abundance of water, ideal conditions for the production of high-quality coffees.
Roasted for espresso, this natural Catuai offers a rich and balanced cup, marked by a beautiful sweetness, a delicate acidity and an expressive fermentation.
On the palate, it reveals notes of plum, dried fig, pecan and chocolate, for a rich and generous experience.
