A leading name in specialty coffee, Hacienda La Esmeralda has produced a remarkable batch, driven by a tropical aromatic explosion.
Harvested at full maturity, this coffee has benefited from a perfectly controlled natural anaerobic fermentation: 3 days of pre-drying on raised beds, 5 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks in a refrigerated room, then 35 days of slow drying in an air-conditioned environment.
From the first sips, vibrant notes of pineapple and mango emerge, followed by the floral sweetness of dried jasmine. The tasting continues with juicy guava, before concluding with a warm and subtly spiced rum finish, bringing depth and elegance.
