A smooth and indulgent coffee with enveloping aromas of vanilla, nougat, and a subtle hint of cinnamon. A wonderfully sweet cup, perfect for lovers of rich and comforting coffees. Roasted using the omni roast method, it reveals its full richness whether brewed as an espresso or filter coffee.
This Vanilla profile is achieved through Café Uba's Culturing fermentation process. In this process, the coffee undergoes a mixed fermentation with pineapple, vanilla, and sugarcane, combined with carefully selected microbial cultures. The fermentation takes place in a low-oxygen environment for over 192 hours, allowing the yeasts and bacteria to activate complex metabolic reactions. The result is a smooth, vibrant, and intensely aromatic cup.
This coffee was shipped to Europe aboard a cargo ship powered entirely by wind, reducing CO₂ emissions from maritime transport by up to 98%. A direct route, without transshipment, for cleaner, more responsible, and better-preserved coffee.
