This exceptional micro-lot, from the heights of Pitalito in the famous Huila region of Colombia, is produced by the visionary Luis Marcelino for Aroma Nativo, a project recognized worldwide for its experimental coffees.

Grown between 1600 and 1900 meters above sea level, it highlights the Papayo, a rare and mysterious variety originating from the same region, named for the elongated shape of its cherries which resembles small papayas, and renowned for its silky texture and fruity complexity.

Enhanced here by the innovative Hydro Honey process, a cutting-edge technique combining a controlled hydro-fermentation phase with a “Honey” type drying where the bean retains some of its mucilage, this coffee offers a cup of remarkable purity and depth.

The result is an elegant aromatic profile, revealing juicy notes of pear and lychee, carried by the nobility of black tea and a delicate scent of dried flowers.
