① A bright, crisp tartness of cherry and grape.
② A subtle hint of gentle pink floral flavors.
③ A playful candy-like texture with a syrupy sweet aftertaste.
◎ Coffee by the Fabiana Family
La Peligrosa is a farm run by Mr. Fabio and his family.
They spent eight years searching for land at higher elevations to grow high-quality coffee in the long term. Eventually, they found the ideal location in the Chirripó mountain region, where production at La Peligrosa Farm began.
This lot is named after the eldest daughter, Fabiana. It features the Catuai variety and a natural process, offering a concentrated and complex flavor unique to natural coffees.
◎ Chirripó — A Rising Coffee Region in Eastern Costa Rica
La Peligrosa stretches across 7–8 hectares at 1,500 to 1,630 meters above sea level near the base of Chirripó Mountain.
Once known as a region for mass-producing low-grade coffee, Chirripó is now gaining attention as an emerging origin for specialty coffee.
The Marespi Micro Mill began focusing on specialty and microlot coffees in 2020, with a particular emphasis on producing high-quality naturals.
