We first purchased Kieni's crop in 2010 for its exceptionally juicy profile - and complex acidity, combined with deep berry-like sweetness. Since then, we have seen a steady progression in quality each year and have witnessed Kieni rise to the second-highest-paid washing station in all of Kenya.

To highlight Kieni's vibrant acidity and distinct aromas, we have roasted it slightly faster than its espresso equivalent. This translates to a very clean and energetic cup while still holding the deep sweetness that makes it unique.
