PRODIGAL - Bella Vista | Peru - Washed - SL9

This is the year of the Peruvian SL-9! We find tons of purple fruit flavors, such as cranberry and blueberry, along with juicy citrus and caramel. We even have a handful of bags available from our February roast, perfectly rested and ready to drink!

Bella Vista comes from another new-to-us producer, David Almanza. He selectively hand harvested ripe cherries, then immediately pulped them. After a brief fermentation, the coffee was washed to fully remove any remaining mucilage. The coffee then dried on raised beds for 15-20 days.
