PRODIGAL - Bella Alejandría Geisha II - Colombia - Anaerobic Washed - Geisha

Wilder Lazo is nearly a fixture on the Prodigal menu, and with good reason. This beautiful coffee features perfumy raspberry, candied stone fruit, and citrus. Our first purchase of this coffee was so small that we only had enough for our subscribers. Luckily we've been able to secure enough from this latest harvest to share with everyone!

Bella Alejandría is a special coffee. Wilder tasted through his farm tree by tree, selecting only the most floral coffees and growing seedlings from those trees. After repeating this process numerous times, he "purified" this geisha tree stock, and the result is the "pura genética" moniker. 

This coffee was harvested in November 2024 and brought to us via Desarrolladores de Cafe. The cherries were pulped and anaerobically fermented in mucilage for just 36 hours. After washing, the coffee dried on raised beds for 12 days.
