This coffee has delicate aromas of orange blossom and jasmine, enhanced by a touch of mandarin. Its profile is floral and fruity, bringing a sweet and refined freshness to each sip.
Gesha Village
Gesha Village in Ethiopia is a unique 471-hectare coffee plantation located in the West Omo zone. Rachel Samuel, Adam Overton and Willem Boot, the founders, fell in love with the area and its people while filming a documentary in 2007. And it was thanks to Willem's teachings on coffee growing and analysis that they decided to focus on the Gesha variety for their "Village". The area offers the necessary conditions for growing quality coffee: a picturesque location, at high altitude, abundant rainfall and a temperate climate, all located near the Gori Gesha forest, the cradle of the variety and the place where Panamanian geishas discovered it in the 1930s. Gesha Village is divided into 8 small farms that allow us to guarantee the traceability of the production and to carry out experiments as well as different drying and fermentation techniques.
